Stan Store Pricing 2026: Plans, Fees and 3-Year Cost

Creator vs Creator Pro, what you still pay on every sale despite the 0% fee, the costs the pricing page leaves out, and when a coach or consultant needs Stan at all.

Updated Sep 2026·7 min read

Stan Store has two plans and no free tier. Creator costs $29 a month or $300 a year, and Creator Pro costs $99 a month or $948 a year, each with a 14-day free trial. Stan takes 0% of your sales on either plan, but the payment processor still charges: 2.9% + $0.30 per US card sale through Stripe, plus extras for international cards, subscriptions and payouts.

Over three years that is $900 for Creator and $2,844 for Creator Pro, billed yearly, before processing fees. It pays off if you sell digital products or courses. If you sell sessions or services, a page with a booking link and a payment button may be all you need.

The subscription must be paid by debit or credit card; PayPal is not accepted (help). Yearly plans cannot be bought in the iOS app, where billing runs through your Apple ID (help), so start on the web if you want the annual price. You can sell during the trial once Stripe or PayPal is connected (help), and when it ends, your first payment is taken unless you have cancelled.

Two rows deserve a second look. The pixel row matters if you run paid ads and want Meta or Google to see which ads led to sales in your store: that takes the pixel, and the pixel takes Pro. The banner row means a Creator store shows a "Try 14 Days Free" banner advertising Stan to your customers.

"0% transaction fees": what you still pay on each sale

Stan takes nothing, but every sale goes through Stripe or PayPal, and Stan's fees article lists what they charge in the US:

ChargeRate
Card payment (Stripe)2.9% + $0.30
International card+1.5%
Recurring payment (subscriptions)+0.5%
Payout to your bank0.25% + $0.25 per payout (minimum fee $1)
Selling in a currency other than your Stripe account's+1%
Afterpay (Pro)6.0% + $0.30
Klarna (Pro)5.99% + $0.30
PayPal checkout3.49% + a fixed fee ($0.49 in the US)

Rates differ in Canada, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. Refund a sale and the full amount comes back out of your balance, while Stripe keeps its fee.

A worked example: a coach sells eight $150 sessions a month on Creator. Stripe takes $4.65 per session, $37.20 in total. One cash-out of the month's balance costs about $3.16. With the $29 subscription, the month costs $69.36, or 5.8% of $1,200 in sales. A client paying with a foreign card adds 1.5%, taking that session's fee to $6.90.

Every card processor charges something, so none of that is unusual. "0% fees" describes Stan's cut, not your cost per sale.

The costs the pricing page leaves out

  • No custom domain. Your store lives at stan.store/yourname on both plans, and domain forwarding is the only workaround (help).
  • A Stripe account Stan manages. You open a new Stripe account through Stan rather than connecting the one you already have (help).
  • Cash-out rules. The minimum is $10, you cash out the whole balance at once, and it takes 24–48 hours to reach your bank (help). Instant payouts are US-only and need 30 days on Stan, an eligible bank and $2,000 already cashed out (help).
  • A 30-day lock after upgrading. Moving up to Pro is prorated and immediate. Moving back to Creator cannot be done in the app for 30 days, though support can do it on request (help).

What happens if you cancel Stan Store

Cancel from Settings, then Billing, and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. There is no pause option. Stan's cancellation guide asks you to do two things first:

  1. Cash out your balance.
  2. Cancel your customers' memberships yourself. If you sell recurring subscriptions, customers keep being charged after you cancel unless you stop them.

The same guide says that when you pay again, "your Stan Store will be live again", with products and settings as you left them. In between, expect your stan.store link to stop working. That matters if it is printed on business cards or pinned in old posts.

Before you go, download your customer list: from the Customers tab, the three-dot menu has a Download CSV option (help). Refunds on the subscription cover one billing period, within 30 days, once the account is fully cancelled, and are not given for non-usage (refund policy).

Is Stan Store worth it, or do you just need a payment button?

Stan earns its price when you sell digital products or courses. It hosts the files, delivers them, runs the checkout and, on Pro, handles upsells, payment plans and email. Doing all that with separate tools is more work and not always cheaper.

Plenty of coaches, consultants, trainers and local service businesses sell something simpler. Run through this list:

  • You sell sessions or services, not files. A booking link and a way to take payment cover it.
  • You take deposits, invoices or tips. For that, a button that opens Stripe, PayPal, Venmo or Cash App is enough.
  • You do not run paid ads to the store, so the Pro-only pixel is irrelevant.
  • You want your own domain or your own branding. Stan has no custom domain on any plan, and removing its banner takes Pro.

If most of those are true, a link-in-bio page with a booking tool and payment buttons will do the job. A Stripe Payment Link gives you a no-code card checkout, with subscriptions and promo codes, at Stripe's standard rates. Our guides to PayPal.Me links and Cash App payment links cover the peer-to-peer options, and if you are comparing link-in-bio tools on price, Linktree's pricing works differently: a free plan, but a seller fee of up to 12% on digital products.

Whooshly is built for that simpler case. A link-in-bio page is free, with payment buttons for Stripe Payment Links (shown as "Pay by card"), PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle and 23 other methods. The money goes straight through those providers, so Whooshly takes no cut and never holds your balance. It does not sell courses or deliver digital files, so if that is your business, Stan is the better fit. Your own logo and a custom domain come with Core, a one-time $35 payment rather than a monthly plan.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Stan Store cost per month?

Creator costs $29 a month and Creator Pro costs $99 a month. Billed yearly, they are $300 and $948, which works out to about $25 and $79 a month (checked September 2026).

Does Stan Store take a percentage of sales?

No. Stan's own fee is 0% on both plans. You still pay the payment processor: Stripe charges 2.9% + $0.30 per US card sale through Stan, plus extra for international cards, subscriptions and payouts, and PayPal charges 3.49% plus a fixed fee.

Does Stan Store have a free plan?

No. Both plans have a 14-day free trial, and you can sell during the trial once payments are connected. When the trial ends, your first payment is taken unless you cancel.

What is the difference between Stan Creator and Creator Pro?

Both include the storefront, booking, courses, subscriptions, email capture and AutoDM. Creator Pro adds discount codes, upsells and order bumps, funnels, payment plans with Afterpay and Klarna, affiliate management, email marketing, ad pixels, and removal of the Stan trial banner from your store.

Is Stan Store worth it?

It is worth it if you sell digital products or courses, because it handles hosting, delivery and checkout in one place. If you mainly sell sessions or services, take deposits or accept tips, a link-in-bio page with a booking link and payment buttons usually costs less.

Can I use a custom domain with Stan Store?

No. Stan stores live at stan.store/yourname on both plans. Stan's help centre suggests domain forwarding as a workaround.

What happens to my Stan Store if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of the paid period. Cash out your balance first, cancel any customer memberships yourself, and download your customer list as a CSV. Stan's guide says paying again makes the store live again, so expect your stan.store link to stop working in between.
