Easy checkout
Guests pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, whichever their phone supports.

Event pages and ticketing – FAQ
Can I sell tickets directly from a Whooshly event page?
Yes. Add a Tickets block, connect payouts through Stripe, set ticket tiers and capacity, and publish. Buyers pay through secure Stripe Checkout and get a confirmation email with their own ticket page and QR code once payment is verified.
Can I run a free RSVP instead of selling tickets?
Yes. Event pages support RSVP forms with guest fields, a capacity limit, and event details in the confirmation email. You can export registrations or send them to a signed webhook.
What does Whooshly charge for paid tickets?
The Whooshly platform fee is 5% on Free, 3% with Core, and 2% with Pro. The organizer can absorb it or pass it to the attendee. Stripe processing fees are separate. Free RSVPs carry no Whooshly ticket fee.
Does Whooshly hold organizer funds?
No. Paid tickets use direct charges on the organizer's connected Stripe account. Stripe handles the payment and payout; Whooshly receives only its disclosed application fee.
Which payment methods can buyers use?
Stripe Checkout can show cards, Link, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash App Pay when the connected account, buyer, device, currency, and region are eligible. Stripe decides the exact methods at checkout.
Where does my event page live?
Every event gets its own link at events.whooshly.co/your-event. You can also publish it on your Whooshly subdomain, or on your own domain with Pro.
Can staff check guests in at the door?
Yes. Share a door link with your staff and they can scan ticket QR codes or look guests up by name from their phone, without a Whooshly account. Each link works for one event and can be revoked.
Do guests get reminders?
Yes. Guests get a confirmation email with their ticket and an add-to-calendar link, and a reminder the day before the event.
Do I need to code the event page?
No. Choose a template, edit the blocks, pick fonts, colours, and text sizes, then publish. Pages are built for phones first because most guests arrive from a shared link or QR code.
