Linktree Pricing 2026: Every Plan, Seller Fee and 3-Year Cost

What Free, Starter, Pro and Premium cost billed monthly or yearly, what the 12%, 9% and 0% seller fees apply to, and the sales level at which each plan is cheapest.

Updated Sep 2026·7 min read

Linktree has four self-serve plans. Free costs nothing, Starter is $8 a month, Pro is $15 a month and Premium is $35 a month, or $6, $12 and $30 a month billed yearly. On top of that, Linktree takes a seller fee on digital products and courses of 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, and 0% on Premium, and Stripe's processing fee applies on every plan.

Which plan is cheapest for you depends almost entirely on whether you sell through the page. The tables below work it out.

US list prices from Linktree's pricing page, checked September 2026. Pro and Premium come with a 7-day free trial; Starter does not. Taxes are added on top of the subscription (terms), so confirm the final price in your own currency before you upgrade.

Some comparison sites still list a $10 Starter plan or a $50 Premium plan. Those figures do not match Linktree's current page.

These prices are recent. In November 2025 Linktree raised its monthly list prices from $5, $9 and $24 to $8, $15 and $35, notifying existing subscribers about a month ahead and saying the money would "invest in innovation and expand existing features" (PriceTimeline, which published the notice). That was a 46–67% rise in one step, and nothing stops another one, which matters when you do the multi-year maths.

What each Linktree plan includes

The plan cards are vague. Linktree's help centre is specific, so this table is built from it.

Sources: paid features overview, analytics history, hiding the logo, integrations. Pro's plan card also adds custom themes, fonts and layouts.

Three details catch people out:

  • Starter does not remove the Linktree logo. Several comparison sites say it does. Linktree's help article says logo removal needs Pro or Premium.
  • No plan gives you a custom domain. Your page lives at linktr.ee/yourname whatever you pay, as Linktree states directly.
  • Each paid plan covers one profile. Three location pages on Pro means three Pro subscriptions, $432 a year billed yearly (multiple profiles).

Linktree seller fees: what the 12%, 9% and 0% apply to

The seller fee is charged on digital products and courses sold through your Linktree. It is deducted automatically and is non-refundable (selling digital products). Stripe's processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per purchase comes off as well, on every plan (fees explained).

Linktree's own worked example is a $34.99 course:

PlanLinktree feeStripe feeYou receive
Free$4.20$1.31$29.48
Starter or Pro$3.15$1.31$30.53
Premium$0$1.31$33.68

Two related charges are less visible. Linktree Shops, the affiliate storefront, is US-only, and on every plan except Premium, Linktree keeps a share of the commission that it does not publish (Shops FAQs). Each Shops payout also carries a $0.25 Stripe fee, per the same fees article.

Tips and payment links that go through PayPal or Square are not in Linktree's seller-fee table, but those processors still charge. PayPal's US rate for a PayPal checkout is 3.49% + $0.49.

Linktree's total cost over one and three years

Subscription plus seller fee for one year, billed yearly, at different levels of monthly digital-product sales. Stripe's fee is left out because it is the same on every plan.

Monthly digital salesFreeStarterProPremium
$0$0$72$144$360
$100$144$180$252$360
$250$360$342$414$360
$500$720$612$684$360
$1,000$1,440$1,152$1,224$360

For three years at today's prices, multiply by three. At $500 a month in sales that is $1,080 on Premium, $1,836 on Starter and $2,160 on Free.

The cheapest plan by sales level, billed yearly:

  • Under $200 a month: Free. Starter only pays for itself once the 3-point fee saving covers its $72.
  • $200 to about $267 a month: Starter. $72 plus 9% undercuts both Free's 12% and Premium's $360.
  • Above about $267 a month: Premium. A flat $360 beats $72 plus 9% from there on.
  • Never Pro, if you are choosing on cost. It has the same 9% fee as Starter at twice the price. You buy Pro for features: no logo, custom themes, integrations, a year of analytics.

Billed monthly, the bands shift up: Free stays cheapest to about $267 a month, Starter from there to $300, and Premium above $300.

If you do not sell digital products, the cost is just the subscription. Three years of Pro is $432 billed yearly or $540 billed monthly, for a page that stays on Linktree's domain.

Cancelling, downgrading and refunds

You can cancel any time from Billing. Paid features stay until the end of the period you paid for, and then the account converts to Free. Your page stays up at the same linktr.ee address.

What changes on the way down follows from the plan table. The Linktree logo returns if you were on Pro or Premium, analytics shrink to a 28-day window, the seller fee goes back to 12%, and email-platform syncs stop. Subscriptions auto-renew, and the terms make payments non-refundable apart from a discretionary 72-hour window, so cancel before the renewal date rather than after.

  • Bill yearly if you are staying. It saves 25% on Starter and 20% on Pro.
  • Choose on fees if you sell, using the bands above.
  • Upgrade one profile, not all of them. Billing is per profile.
  • Check whether you need Linktree's checkout at all. If you sell a service, take deposits or accept tips, a button that opens PayPal, Venmo or Cash App may be enough. Those processors charge their own fees, but no seller fee is added on top. Our guides to PayPal.Me links and Cash App payment links show how to set them up.
  • Compare alternatives on the same terms. Carrd starts at $9 a year, with a custom domain from $19 a year. Beacons has a free plan with a 9% fee and a $30-a-month plan at 0%. If you sell courses with upsells and email flows, read our breakdown of Stan Store's pricing too. The Linktree alternatives roundup covers the rest.

Whooshly's link-in-bio page is one of those alternatives, built for businesses that mainly need links, payment buttons and tracking. One page is free, including payment buttons for PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, Zelle, UPI, Pix and 22 other methods, and Whooshly takes no cut because the money goes straight through those providers. It does not run its own checkout or deliver digital products, so if you sell courses or downloads, Linktree or Stan is the better fit. Your own logo, removing the Whooshly footer and a custom domain come with Core, a one-time $35 payment. If you have a Linktree already, you can paste its URL and see the page rebuilt before you sign up.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Linktree cost per month?

Linktree Free is $0. Starter is $8 a month, Pro is $15 a month and Premium is $35 a month when billed monthly, or $6, $12 and $30 a month when billed yearly (US prices, checked September 2026). Agency and Enterprise plans are custom-priced.

What is the difference between Linktree Free and Pro?

Pro removes the Linktree logo, adds custom themes, fonts and layouts, keeps 365 days of analytics instead of 28, lets you customise your QR code, and syncs sign-ups to tools like Mailchimp and Klaviyo. It also lowers the seller fee on digital products from 12% to 9%. Pro includes a 7-day free trial.

Does Linktree take a percentage of sales?

Yes, on digital products and courses: 12% on Free, 9% on Starter and Pro, 0% on Premium, plus Stripe's processing fee on every plan. Linktree also keeps part of affiliate commissions from Linktree Shops on every plan except Premium.

Is Linktree Premium worth it?

On cost alone, Premium is the cheapest Linktree plan once you sell more than about $267 a month in digital products, billed yearly, because its 0% seller fee saves more than the $360 a year it costs. Below $200 a month Free costs least, and between $200 and $267 Starter does.

Can I use my own domain with Linktree?

No. Linktree does not offer a custom domain on any plan, so your page stays at linktr.ee/yourname. If a branded address matters to you, choose a link-in-bio tool that supports custom domains.

Did Linktree raise its prices?

Yes. In November 2025 Linktree raised its monthly prices from $5 to $8 for Starter, $9 to $15 for Pro and $24 to $35 for Premium, a 46–67% increase, with about a month's notice to existing subscribers.
