Ticket buyer policy
Last updated: 18 September 2026
This policy is for people who register for, or buy a ticket to, an event hosted on Whooshly, including event pages at events.whooshly.co and on organizers' own domains.
Who you buy from
Every event on Whooshly is run by its organizer. The organizer sells the ticket, is responsible for the event, and is the merchant of record for the payment. KMF Ventures LLC operates Whooshly, which provides the event page, registration, and checkout technology. We are not the seller and are not a party to your purchase.
Payments
Paid tickets are processed by Stripe on the organizer's own Stripe account. We never receive your full card number. If the organizer passes on the Whooshly platform fee, it is shown as a separate line before you pay.
Refunds and cancellations
The organizer's refund policy applies. Check the event page before you buy, and contact the organizer about refunds, changes, or cancellations, usually by replying to your confirmation email. If an event is cancelled, the organizer is responsible for refunding ticket holders. If you cannot resolve a payment problem with the organizer, your card issuer may be able to help.
Your ticket
After you register or pay, we email a confirmation to the address you entered, with a link to your ticket page. It shows your QR code for entry and lets you add the event to your calendar. For a free registration you can also change your number of guests or cancel there before the event starts. We send a reminder before the event.
Keep your ticket link private: anyone who has it can use it. The organizer may refuse entry to duplicate, refunded, cancelled, or invalid tickets.
Your information
The organizer receives the details you provide for the event. We process them on the organizer's behalf as described in our Privacy Policy and do not use them to market Whooshly to you.
Report a problem
If an event looks fraudulent, misleading, or unsafe, report the event. For problems with the Whooshly service itself, email contact@whooshly.co. Organizers' obligations are set out in our Terms of Service.
